Personal Information BikerGeo Collects

We receive and store any information you provide to us through our service or through any other third party service. We may use this personal information in order to adjust the application to meet your needs, the needs of the community or that of the application provider. Additiononally, the information you provide is used for purposes such as allowing you to register, login, create a profile, which can be used to interact with others on BikerGeo as well as enable you to engage and add content such as photos, routes and any other data to the site.

Information we collect or you provide to us such as but not limited to your name, biographical data, location data and all content you transmit while using this service may be displayed publicly on BikerGeo.

We don't sell your information nor do we currently set any cookies other than those required to support login, registration and continued use of the site.

Be aware that the information you provide to us may be viewed around the world in an instant.

Deletion of your User Data

If you no longer wish to use BikerGeo and would like us to delete your user data, please reach out via email to our support team at contact@bikergeo.com. Please ensure that you email us from your email account/address currently associated with your BikerGeo account and we'll gladly faciliate your data deletion request in a timely manner.

Personal Information BikerGeo Collects Pertaining to Facebook Login

If you've used the Facebook Platform to login to BikerGeo, we collect an email address if provided as well as your name. We do this in order to provide you with a more personalized experience while using BikerGeo as well as to communicate with you regarding updates to the app or keep you apprised of other member-related activity on BikerGeo.

At any time, you can request deletion of this data by performing the following steps:

  • Go to your Facebook profile's Apps and Websites settings tab: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
  • Remove the BikerGeo app.
  • Click the View Removed Apps and Websites link.
  • In the popup , click the View button to the right of the application.
  • In the window that appears, click Send Request to trigger your callback.

Location Information

Any location-based information you provide may be saved in order to help improve our service.

What users see

All users of BikerGeo may see the location data information you provide, first and last name and/or username, photo, hometown, current location, any profile-related information provided to us and any other content you add to BikerGeo while using the service.

Business Transfers

If BikerGeo or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that BikerGeo goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, a user's information provided while using this service would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.

Law and Harm

We may disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect BikerGeo’s rights or property.
